Preparation
The participants of the course will have to:
(1) Register to Entredu portal, then join Entredu contest community and complete their profile.
or
(2) Register to the green community of School Gardens, and complete their profile.
(3) Prepare a short power point presentation of their school’s profile that they will share with the rest of the group and that will include the following:
- Name of school, location, number of pupils, teaching staff and other staff
- How the school is organized and administered
- Basic information on the social context of the school
- Description of the prevailing culture regarding innovation: How open is the school to innovation in general?
- Examples of any innovative practices.
- The ethos of the school regarding e-learning practices and tools
- Available resources and infrastructure
- How open is the school to the community? Examples of practices.
- In what ways are parents involved in school life? Examples of practices.
- Needs of the school: Which aspects would you need to improve?
- How do you view yourself within the school context?
(3) Structure an entrepreneurial education scenario, focusing on the detailed presentation of phases, learning activities and objectives. Scenarios will be presented in English; it will be highly appreciated scenarios that illustrate interdisciplinary features, in the sense that relate entrepreneurial skills not only with Environmental Education, Science, Economics and Business studies, but with other subject areas as well, i.e. History, etc.
All scenarios will be uploaded before the beginning of the course under “Entredu Summer School teachers’ community”, or using the “Learning Scenarios” template. As soon you register to the “Entredu Summer School teachers’ community” and you enter the respective learning space, you click on the “Learning Scenario” icon and you navigate yourself to ODS authoring tool. Follow the guidelines and present your scenario as detailed as possible.
